Valleycation: Three Rivers Historical Museum

If you are on your way to see the giant trees at Sequoia National Park, you might want to stop here at the Three Rivers Historical Museum on your way there or your way back.  A tiny museum with a huge impact, starting with 72 year-old, weighing several tons, the American giant himself, Paul Bunyan.  Carved from a giant sequoia, he welcomes people to the museum.

Three Rivers, California serves as the Gateway to the Giant Sequoia National Park.  Today, my friend Mary museum hopped, gleaning history from every stop.  You can read an overview on my personal blog Marsha Lee Streaming Thoughts.

To give you an idea of the size of 40 ton Paul, you notice that he is the same size as the building.  Compared to Mary, he seems huge.
